Excellent book to brush up your shorthand knowledge with a thorough review of all Gregg principles. Previous knowledge of shorthand necessary, i.e. after having completed Volume II.

For the Intermediate- to Advanced Learner

I am learning Gregg Shorthand as a way to get my thoughts out, as a writer, in a more efficient way.
I learn best from resources like review/reference grammars.
This, Volume Two, is the wonderful equivalent to such a grammar that I've been looking for. There is a GREAT section on short-form prefixes and suffixes, along with disjoined affixes. I feel that this has GREATLY improved my speed of comprehension and application.
However, if you are looking to begin learning Gregg Shorthand, I would highly recommend Volume One of this series. I purchased both at once, and they were well worth the investment. The Diamond Jubilee series, based on my obsessive research, is the best iteration to learn from, with only 129 brief forms, and its emphasis on building speed in comprehension and transcription.
