This publication provides a good overall view. Unfortunately for my situation it did not address my power converter problem. Like most publications out there it concentrates more on the self contained RV or what I would call a Motor Home not the towable. I suspect this is due in part to the commonality of parts and variations in dealer provided options. It dosen't really explain how to test the converter/charger so for DIY it falls short.

The Only You Will Ever Need on Flow Meters

Highly detailed in every way. Complete equations suitable for computer programming. In fact, Rosemount and other companies refer to this handbook exclusively. The index is the best way to use this book. As handbooks go, it is easy to use and an excellent compilation of vendor information as well as original R&D information. There are a few quarks in the equations for integral orifices, but the actual errors are negligable. I got improved equations from Rosemount. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is that it takes some time to dig information from the handbook. It's all there, but, it takes time to digest it. You must have this book if you encounter instruments, particularly, flow metes, during your work. You must have this book!

Originally a radio broadcast in 1945, the Maxwell House-sponsored forum Meet the Press?a kind of TV studio press conference for newsmakers?debuted on NBC 50 years ago this November. The program was coproduced by Martha Rountree and Lawrence Spivak, each of whom served as its host during the early years, featuring relatively unvarnished sessions between influential subjects and a panel of top reporters. While Robert Dole returned more than 50 times to the show, other visitors had such a lousy experience that they later took a swing at the questioner. The paranoid and grandstanding Senator Joe McCarthy even brought a gun to his interview. After Dole, the list of frequent visitors is surprising, seeming to reward Washington's moderate survivors, from Sam Nunn (29 guest spots) on down to the oddly infrequent Ted Kennedy (13). A tribute to one of television's longest running programs

This book is a excellent tribute to the public affairs program that spawned such programs as "Face the Nation" and "This Week". This book is a very interesting look at the political faces that have passed through "Meet the Press" in its first fifty years. This book is a must read for those who really enjoy this program.

This book very useful as a reference when I need to build multi-core systems

Much of this book is a dry read. Oh well, they all are. The value I find in this book is that I occasionally need to re-remember the design needs of a more complex ASIC/CPU/SoC design. Many of the issues related to these designs are often forgotten in the rush to get a design done on schedule. This book kicks my mind set back toward the principals and challenges in designing such a complex system.

This is an excellent book especially for students who want to do Masters in Computer Science & Engineering. Concept of Parallel processing, multistage Unix Kernel etc. are excellent. More detailed discussion on SuperComputer Architecture with diagrams are required.

The bible and encyclopaedia of wastewater engineering

I first got exposed to the textbook as an undergraduate student in civil engineering. Served as an excellent in depth textbook for that level. During my masters program it was a good starting point. As a consulting engineer, I can find most of the basic and fundamental answers. The language is lucid and simple. I have read lots of books on wastewater engineering. Agreed that there are more detailed texts available on specific areas of wastewater treatment, but this textbook does a very good job of striking that balance just right of covering material in enough detail for students and the practising engineer. It is usually enough unless you are writing a masters thesis or a doctoral dissertation. This text, together with the companion textbook, Collection and Pumping of Wastewater has served me very well during my college and professional career. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good book on wastewater treatment. I very respectfully disagree with the gentleman from Istanbul above who feels that this book is poor. When taking my PE exam, if I was to be limited to just one textbook on wastewater, I would take this one.

Encyclopedic but not suitable as a textbook.

This book contains large amount of information and therefore it may be argued that it is an important reference in the field. Unfortunately, as a textbook for undergraduate teaching, it is terrible. There are several mistakes in the solved examples. Problems at the end of each chapter are not well prepared. Solving the problems at the end of a chapter do not necessarily contribute to a better understanding of the material contained in that chapter.
A large number of equations related to the activated sludge process are presented, but they are not well connected. How these equations can be systematically used in design is neither well explained nor well exemplified. Overall, this book is not suitable for self-study without the guidance of an experienced instructor/engineer who also has practical experience in wastewater plant design and operation.
Then again, there are very few good books in this field (if any). The field of water and wastewater treatment certainly needs good authors/teachers!
